Millions Die Because of Dirty Water

Unhealthy Water Entering Our Homes

People are dying because they drink contaminated water

Unhealthy water is the world’s biggest health risk because of it’s death rate is so high. The death toll, which is 3.6 million people per year die because of water related issues. This water are contaminated with chemicals, heavy metals, lead and who knows what. In developing countries about 80% or the people get ill from unhealthy water. General Secretary of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon claimed, “More people die from unsafe water than all forms of violence, including war”. A good example is a water crisis in Flint, Michigan. Lead polluted the tap water making rashes, killing people and some scientists say that it is plausible that it caused an outbreak of a type of disease called Legionnaires’ disease which already killed ten people and infected 64.

The Solution

I suggest applying at least 30 filters to every small rural town lacking clean water and up to 1000 filter in bigger ones villages or towns. Well you may ask, how about the cost? Well the filters are very cheap. If you look at the picture below you can see that all you need is a rubber tube, a branch from a white sapwood tree and something to hold the branch and tube together.
