Each month, 1-2 volunteers can present to each class approximately 45-60 minute presentations that you (the volunteer) create. You present the history of the artist and his/her style for about 15 minutes and use the remainder of the time for the students to create an art project in that artist's style. No art experience is needed!

BG Parent Volunteers
All volunteers, new and “old,” will be asked to complete the Volunteer Form prior to coming in to volunteer for the first time this school year. Once we have it on file you will not need to complete it again this year.
Volunteers simply need to complete the Volunteer Form.
Just like in previous years, volunteers will need to have their license with them for us to scan into our Raptor System. In addition now, you will need to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative Covid-19 test dated within 72hrs. Digital or paper proof is fine. We will NOT retain a paper copy of your vaccination or negative Covid tests here at the building. Therefore, please be prepared to show proof each day you volunteer.
All volunteers will be required to adhere to the safety mitigations schools are following. Volunteers will need to remain 3’ from students and to wear a mask for their entire time in the building.

E-Learning Plan and Emergency Days
The School Board has approved an E-Learning plan that gives the district the option to offer remote learning in place of emergency days. Currently, our last day of school is Tuesday, May 24, which is the week before Memorial Day.
If we experience inclement weather, the first three days will be “snow days” that will be made up at the end of the school year on May 25, 26, and 27 as needed.
Subsequent emergency days will be remote days so the last attendance day will still be before Memorial Day.
If there is a long stretch of inclement weather (blizzard, polar vortex, etc.), we may split the days into “snow days” and e-learning days so as to not have too many non-attendance days in a row.
