Transition Plus

Young adults- growing and achieving more with our help!

International Potluck

I want to say thank you to all of the staff that made this evening a success for our students and their families. Your help and attendance was much appreciated! If you weren't able to attend you missed a great time with amazing entertainment. We got to see and be a part of urban diversity at its finest. I am so happy to be part of the Transition Plus community where we value each person and the gifts they bring to our school.

Food Service News

Students in the Food Service class will begin selling lunch, once a week on Wednesdays, for staff. Lunch will be available to purchase from 12:00-1:00 in room C 184. Each week we will offer either soup, salad bar, or baked potato bar. We will begin with soup on Wednesday, October 26th. Cost is ONLY $3.00 for a bowl of soup and piece of bread.

Let’s Help Our Student Parents

Have you been meaning to clean out some closets and drawers before the winter hits? Have you walked past a clearance rack and seen something for 50 cents and wondered who you could buy it for? It’s time to donate to Transition Plus Kids Room!

We will be collecting gently used baby clothes, toys, and books for our students with children. We will take clothes from size newborn up to 3T. Please make sure all clothes have been laundered prior to donating them. Please make sure toys are clean and safe for young children. You may drop the items off to either Tia or Laura. We will let you know where the items will be housed and when they will be ready for students.

Students in need of toys or children's clothing should be directed to their Social Worker in order to access the TPlus Kids Room.

Thanks in advance for your generosity!

Tia and Laura

During their time here we will be giving them a presentation on What is Transition Plus? This will be followed by a tour and classroom visits.
