Think about this video and message about a SOCIAL CONSCIENCE...
Sending out social media messages can leave a permanent stain on a school, team, or community. Having the patience to calm down before posting negative messages can help to curb some of the negative impact that the message would certainly have.
There are many traps of letting our emotional responses overpower what we know is right. One of the "I can" statements in our Culture Playbook for social conscience states, I can recognize how my attitude impacts those around me. The outcome of that behavior is then listed as: I am aware that my words and actions are a reflection of my school. When simple venting of frustrations gets put on social media, those frustrations and attitudes that are very private to you become very public to everyone else. What may have been a weak moment, now turns into a representation of you and ultimately, our school. You are a Cardinal 24/7, your actions must represent the good that takes place in our building, or your words and action are a reflection of us all.
