PVMS POST

December 14 - December 20

I BELIEVE.....

As the season of believing is upon us, here is what I believe.

I believe teaching is the most noble and important profession that we have in society, and quality teachers are as close to true and living superheroes that we have in our world. I believe we have the most committed educators at PVMS. Committed educators are change agents…they are sculptors…they are artists…they are mentors…they are role models, and they are oftentimes under appreciated. No professional works harder than a committed educator in my opinion, with the sole focus and responsibility of molding students into leaders for our world, and into confident, competent, compassionate, critical thinkers, and creative members of our communities. You are truly amazing and deserve to be lauded for your tremendous efforts and contributions to our students, the future. I believe you are the light of Powdersville.

Way to Go!

  • Margaret Robinson and Treva Davis were accepted to present on companion novels with Rebecca Harper at the SCCTE conference at Kiawah Island in January!

  • Janice Rice applied for a 2016 Target Field Trip Grant and won! She plans to take her students to Myrtle Beach in the Spring!

  • Cafeteria Manager, Michelle Lee, and her staff received a "100" A+ on this semester's DHEC Report. This is very difficult to achieve, way to go!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Mr. McCall and I send our thanks to all of you for enriching the lives of our students and us. We have the best administration job in the world because we are surrounded by the best teachers and staff in the world. We are sincerely thankful that you are here. It is not the programs such as ICU or EAFK or even technology like iPads that make our school great; instead, it is each of you performing great deeds day in and day out. Thank You! May we all have a wonderful, magical holiday season filled with joy and peace. We wish each and every family of Powdersville Middle a happy and safe holiday season.
