ASCD PD Online
A District 68 Internal University: WINTER 2016-2017
Online Professional Development
This past summer we began offering Online PD via ASCD's PD Online program to staff as part of our Internal University program. Over 50 teachers benefited from this flexible learning opportunity. Given the success, we have been asked to once again offer this rewarding experience for staff.
ASCD's award-winning online courses are developed by noted experts and practitioners and address the most relevant topics facing educators today. Using a blend of learning media, the courses include opportunities to tailor content to your learning needs and collaborate with colleagues.
Although PD Online has an integrated learning management system, which allows progress monitoring and assigning, it works with many institutional learning management systems as well.
Whether you’re a teacher looking to expand your knowledge of a topic or a principal, who needs to bring scalable professional development to your school, PD Online’s intuitive design and embedded resources can support your learning goals and help your students excel.
