Call For Pictures - Veteran's Day
This year’s reading challenge is Book Bingo!! Bingo cards went out the week of September 24th. We have already had lots of kids come in and get their coins for completing bingos! A few reminders:
Write the title, pages read, and parent initials in the corresponding box on the back.
ALL books count! Books read by parents, books read by siblings, books read in class or in the library, audiobooks, Bookflix books, Bookaboo books, famous people reading books on Youtube, they all count!! The objective is exposure to 36 different books!!
No Double-dipping!! Each book can only be used ONCE, so all the titles on the back of the sheet have to be a different book. Book series are very popular, so you can definitely have more than one book from a series it just has to be a different book within the series.
Coins for Bingos and shopping are only to be done on MONDAYS! Teachers get an email reminder each Monday morning to let the kiddos with Bingos come to the library at some point in the day.
A Blackout (all 36 boxes filled) gets the family an invite to Bingo Night at school with Bingo playing, prizes, and food! The more people that are able to come the more fun we all have! Students have till December 13th to finish up Bingo Cards.
Thanks so much for your support and please contact Andrea Heckler (email@example.com) if you have any questions!

Raise Craze - Results and Thank You!
The final Raise Craze results are in and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Our students completed over 3,000 acts of kindness and raised over $63,000!
We blew away our original goals of 2,000 AOK, so as a special treat, Ms. Kellner spray-painted Mrs. Andjelic’s hair pink, blue, and purple in front of the whole school at assembly - and she wore it like that all day!
A big THANK YOU to all of you who made this fundraiser such a huge success! We appreciate your support, both in donations and in doing so many acts of kindness. Thank you, BCE!
And a heartfelt thank you to Emily Chaplinski and the Raise Craze committee for putting on this wonderful new fundraiser! You are amazing and BCE appreciates you!
Here are some of the thousands of wonderful acts of kindness performed by BCE students over the last few weeks. Way to #BeeKind, Bobcats!
Gathering clothing and writing letters to children in a Haiti orphanage
Making place mats for meals on wheels
Bringing in 335 pounds of breakfast items for a local food pantry
Writing notes on hearts for veterans and Operation Finally Home
Sending treats and thank you notes to police and fire stations
Collecting and donating used books to support literacy programs
Holding lemonade stands to raise money for charities
Picking up trash in the neighborhood and local parks
Writing kind notes to teachers, friends, and neighbors
Don’t let the end of Raise Craze stop you on your quest for kindness. We hope you enjoyed spreading kindness and will continue to #BeeKind Always!
