A Note from Mrs. Beaudet
Dear Families,
It is hard to believe it's already October! We have had a busy start to the school year and students and staff are working hard!
We are implementing a new literacy program at all grade levels called Savvas Learning. It is a comprehensive, interactive program that provides a balanced approach to teaching reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing using a collection of authentic reading texts and collaborative writing workshops.
Grade 6 also has a new math program called Illustrative Math. It is a problem-based core curriculum designed to address content and practice standards. Students learn by doing math, solving problems in mathematical and real-world contexts.
We appreciate your help in keeping the students and staff safe at school by screening your child each day for symptoms of illness. If you are unsure if you should send your child to school, please call the school nurse to discuss your situation. Also, if you are awaiting the results of a Covid 19 test for a family member living in your home, please keep your child home as well.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Beaudet

Materials will be prepared for pick-up and student iPads (grades K-6) will also be available during that time. Teachers will create a plan for your child so they are able to access some literacy and math instruction via Zoom or using the ProAv system. In addition, students will have work through Seesaw and/or Google classroom. All necessary passwords will be provided to you and your child. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to myself or the classroom teacher.
