It is great to be back in the building and seeing everyone again. Last Friday, principals received their budgets. For the next few weeks, we will be diligently working on how we can best support Henry next year with the funds provided.

Sign Up for Covid Testing at Henry

Round 1 high school offers for the 2022-2023 school year are now available in your GoCPS account. You have until April 1, 2022 at 5pm CST to accept or decline offers and withdraw from waitlists.

To view your application results, you can log in from the GoCPS website.

Parent Assistance with Go CPS: Ms. Abraham and Mr. Renas will be offering drop in hours on Monday, March 21st from 9:30am to 3pm to assist parents with 1st round offers if they have additional questions or concerns. Parents have been invited via email.

As the weather warms up we want to make sure students are reminded of the PBIS expectations around the school and during lunch/recess. On Wednesday, March 23rd we will have an event designed by the Culture & Climate Committee. Teachers will take their homerooms around to each station. Responsible 8th graders will be assigned to each group to assist. 6th and 7th graders will not participate in this event but they did create posters for us.

The best way to have your child be prepared for these testing days is to make sure they have enough rest by going to bed early, eat a good breakfast, and to provide your child with words of encouragement.
