The Cherokee Chronicle
Good Morning Lamar Families!
Students are off to a great start in our 2nd half of the school year and our 3rd nine weeks. They are showing progress in class through their academics, behavior, and attendance. Teachers have been meeting individually or in small groups with your child in these 3 areas to help them set goals and formulate strategies to meet these goals.
Parents, as the 3rd link between student-school-home, please continue to help us support your child by encouraging them to read nightly for 20 minutes, allowing them to complete their assigned work to the best of their abilities, and by continuing to communicate with your child's teacher. If your child needs access to good reading from home, please check out our digital library through the SORA App button below.
As always, if you have any questions or if I can be of assistance, please call the school at 423-753-1130 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
