8th Grade Math
With Ms. Johnston - Week of March 815th
Last Friday, students took a quiz over two way tables and bivariate data! I was very happy with the overall quiz grades!
This week, students are learning how to write and graph linear equations in standard form.
They are already familiar with writing and graphing linear equations in slope intercept form (y=mx+b).
We will have a short 5 question quiz this Friday, but the grade will not be reflected in the gradebook. This will serve as a formative assessment so that kids will know what they need to really review on Monday before our unit test that is on Tuesday.
All of our class notes are on our class edmodo page.
Tuesday, March 24 - U nit 6 test over line of best fit, bivariate data, two way frequency tables, and standard form linear equations.
Upcoming 9th grade parent/student nights are scheduled at the high schools on the dates below. Please make time to attend as you will get course requests, extra-curricular information, meet staff and see the school.
EPHS – March 31st @ 6pm
NPHS – April 20th @ 5:30pm (honors meetings @ 7pm)
HHS – March 31st @ 6pm
PCHS – March 31st @ 6pm
