RES/RMS October Newsletter

October 9, 2020

Dear Families,

The 2020-2021 school year is well underway. We had a fantastic start to the year! Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we implemented our COVID procedures and continuously work to keep our students and staff safe.

Please make sure that you have connected with your child's classroom teacher(s) utilizing the following platforms:

-Google Classroom

If there are any questions, please contact your child's teacher(s). In the event of any mandated closure, we would like to be prepared with established technology and communication with families.

Again, thank you for your patience this school year and please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Miss Fuelling (Principal) and Mrs. Baerlocher (Assistant Principal)

School Reminders

Morning Drop Off:

Students may be dropped at RES and RMS anytime after 7:30am. The doors will not open until 7:30am. Students report directly to class.

Dismissal Procedures:

Changes in pick up or bus plans at dismissal need to be called in before 12:00pm for RMS and updated in Pikmykid before 12:00pm for RES. If there is a change in bus and the student needs a bus pass, please call the main office. The office staff needs time to notify teachers and students of the changes.

Lost and Found:

The Lost and Found is located in the cafeteria. If your child is missing an item, please encourage him/her to check in the lost and found. At the end of each semester, unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.

RES Pikmykid

Thank you for your flexibility as we've implemented our Pikmykid dismissal app at RES. For all families picking up, please stay in the car pickup line and move forward along the sidewalk as spaces become available. All students will be exiting out of the main doors.

If you have not signed up for Pikmykid and need more information, please call the main office (989)275-6610.
