Words From The East
I can't believe it's almost the end of the school year, yay! That means that Grand Assembly is just around the corner! I know I get really busy at this time of year, with finals and all of the try outs for next year. I just keep looking at our really full calendars and think, "how will I get it all done?" Somehow, magically, it all goes as it should and everything gets done! I am really excited to have mascots this year. I can't wait to see them! Our scrapbook is moving along and so is our bus! Seeing all of this progress just fills me with determination!

District 1 & 2 Grand Reception
We had a wonderful time traveling to our last Grand Reception of the year. This time we headed up to Perrysburg Masonic Lodge to help District 1 & 2 honor their 2015-2016 Grand Officers.
Do you have a service idea?

Masonic Trivia Moment
Everyone knows who George Washington was and his impact on America's history. However, not everyone is aware that our founding father, George Washington, was also a Freemason. His first inauguration in 1791, President Washington took his oath of office on a Bible from St. John's Lodge in New York. George Washington wasn't the only man from America's history who was a Mason. Do you know any others?
Calling all Majority members!
Saturday, August 20th , 2016 2 PM – 4:30 PM Western Reserve Masonic Community, 4931 Nettleton Rd, Medina, Ohio 44256 Medina Rd/Rt 18 at State Rt 71 (330) 721-3000
Casual attire (but be reasonable), bring your memorabilia, bring your favorite Grand Assembly mascot, bring your mom (didn’t she drive you all those places?) Former advisors & Rainbow adults welcome too!
Send this invitation to your old Rainbow friends or better yet - just cram them in the car like old times. In 2015 we had about 80 people, let’s double that in 2016. Also - bring a dollar (or more), no fee for us to use the facility but let’s make a donation to thank them.
Bring a dish to share – we’re Rainbow Girls, we’re always hungry !! What will we do? Just like last year, just like when we were Rainbow Girls - we’ll laugh, we’ll scream, we’ll jump up and down, we might shed a tear or two, we’ll tell stories on each other, we’ll share something that made us who we are today.
