Academy of Biomedical Science and HOSA
Hi, We are three seniors attending Scituate High School, looking to fundraise for Stroke victims. We have chosen the Stroke Support Association to empower stroke survivors and their families with resources to recover, reclaim, and rebuild their lives. We have competed in Medical Innovations for the past two years designing a prototype to help stroke victims regain their hand function, now we have ventured on to Community Awareness, spreading information and awareness to and about stroke victims so their stories can be heard. Please help us in providing these victims with a little extra help! Every dollar counts! You can donate through the link attached. If you are unable to donate, please help us share the message.
From Science
S in STEAM students performed a water quality test from a variety of sources including multiple locations in the high school and samples from home. The purpose was to identify the presence of any potential chemical issues that might indicate poor water quality. There was a range among samples taken from the homes of students but the school water was considered average and safe.
From Culinary Arts
Students are in the building and decorating phase of their gingerbread assignment. Houses will be on display in the library for all to see!

SHS Holiday Shop!
This is the third year Mrs. Morton's Working with Children class has collaborated with Middle School Special Education students and Dr. Murtagh, the school speech pathologist. They work on developing merchandise and organizing sales during the holiday. The proceeds refund the project with extra for an annual field trip in the Spring. These future high school students are considering careers working with children and our MS students enjoy their guidance and support. We hope you will participate in this holiday sale and support them in their goals.
