The must know from the newsletter is that Thursday is back to a normal dismissal date. The cross country meet scheduled to be at NHCS is moved to Foundation Park. To clarify, Thursday, Sept 21st will be a 3:15 dismissal day!

Be sure to read the newsletter to stay in the know of all the things going on at and around NHCS.

News from Ms. Alex in the Office

If your child needs to take any medication during the school hours, please have them bring it to the office, we will administer it from there.

Please verify that you have the correct email address for Ms. Alex. I had misspelled crusaders before.

We really are so blessed by her and her presences in the office. I have seen her praying with students, showing them how to tie their shoes, and just loving on students. She is the best!!

3rd-5th Grade PeeWee Cheerleading

Cheer coaches have been found!!!

The first practice will be Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30. We will let you know the location ASAP. The first game is September 26th and the season ends with a tournament at NHCS on the weekend of October 20th-21st. There are games every Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Sweet Treats-What is this?

I've been asked, "What are sweet treats?" Great question.

This is something that our 8th grade class sells on Fridays during lunch. The cost is $1. 8th grade students/parents are responsible for bringing in treats. ALL the funds raised goes towards their 8th grade class trip and an 8th grade class legacy project. Past legacy projects are the gaga pits and a donation to purchase swings. Last year's class, is making a donation to whatever this year's class decides on.

This is an optional thing.

Save the Date-Fall Festival -TIME CHANGE--5:30

NHCS will take over the Schwartz Orchard on Saturday, October 14th at 5:30 pm. More details to come. This is a fun night where families can come together to socialize and do orchard things.

We are needing food trucks for the event If you have any suggestions, please let me know. We already have Baldys.
