Report cards will be sent home with students next Wednesday 10/21 during homeroom. Please follow up with your student regarding their report card and if it was received.
Chocolate Fundraiser will be starting on 10/16 and end on 12/4. Funds that are raised will be used towards school activities for our students. Remember if you would like to opt out, please fill out the form in the front office.
ESL Parent Night
The ESL department of HSI-FW is sponsering an ESL Parent Night! You will learn more about the ESL Department, receive a curriculum overview, and meet our ESL teachers. We will provide tips on how you can help your child succeed in the classroom. Please join us on Thursday October 15th from 6-7 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
The Munch A Bunch delivery date is set for Oct 22, starting at 5pm. We will have a table set up for you to pick up your orders. Please stay and join us for our PTO meeting starting at 6 and our Health Wellness panel discussion. We will offer flu shots that evening, please bring your insurance card. If your insurance covers flu shots they will be priced based on your co-pay. If you don't have insurance there is a $25 fee per shot. They accept Medicare and Medicaid.

Please support our PTO and purchase PTO spirit wear. We will have it for sale at all PTO sponsored events. T shirts are $12 and we accept cash or checks. Please make checks out to HSIFWPTO.

Carter Blood Care will be on campus Thursday, October 22nd from 11 am - 7 pm for our annual fall blood drive, sponsored by NHS. Register to donate HERE!

Our cross country teams did great at the Flyin' Hawks Cross Country meet held at the TCC-NE campus this past weekend. Our District meet will be on Monday, October 19th at the Waxahachie Sports Complex. We would like to congratulate Jervaughn Muriel who placed 2nd at the competition. Go Tigers!
A Note from PTO!
Students who have reached a balance of $20 will not be permitted to go through the lunch lines. We sent home notices this last week, so make sure to update information with the office as needed. Our campus does not accept food deliveries for students. If you would like to eat in the cafeteria with your student you can bring food, but only for your student. Microwaves are for high school use only. Lunch payments can be made in the front office via check, money order or credit card or in the database under the "other" tab. We do not accept cash.
FALL FESTIVAL is Oct 30th starting at 5pm and the outdoor movie of Big Hero 6 will start at 7:30. Tickets will be on sale starting Oct 26th at a table in front of the school from 2:30-4:45 pm each day leading up to the fall fest. Tickets are $5 per 5 and for every $20 you get 5 tickets for free.
