Weekly Happenings at Southeastern Elementary
Principal's Postings
Welcome to the Nov. 10, 2023, edition of Southeastern Scene.
Hello Southeastern families:
On behalf of our entire Southeastern Elementary staff, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to each of you who have served and those who are currently serving. We want to express our deepest gratitude to ALL Veterans, Active Military, and the soldier’s families. You all have sacrificed so much in your lives and deserve nothing but honor and appreciation for everything that you have done for this country.
It is our hope that you find joy in the video that we created of SES student and staff relatives. Please join us in honoring our very own SES family veterans. Please click on the video here.
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
John F. Kennedy
Mrs. Chastain, Ms. Monkul and Mr. Roberts

Hello Southeastern Elementary Families!

If you would like to request assistance, please complete the information on the attached form. I ask that you complete it as it appears. SES can submit no more than 4 families, so assistance will be provided on a first come first served basis. I will contact you if your family is selected.
The information forms are due by Wednesday, November 8th. Absolutely no late forms will be accepted. Please contact our school counselor, Jennifer Smith, with any questions or to submit a form.
In addition, The Salvation Army is offering The Angel Tree Program. Click on this link to get more information and to register.

PTO Food Drive
Our SES PTO Philanthropic committee welcomes you to join us in helping our friends in need. Throughout the school year, we partner with the Fall Creek Township Food Pantry, by collecting kid friendly pantry-type donations and serve their current needs.
Each grade will be assigned a month or two months, with specific needs for those months, but donations of any pantry items are welcome. The bin for donations will be located in the LGI (Large Group Instruction) space (open space in front of the cafe as you enter the building). You can send your donations to school with your child, and teachers will be sure to get contributions to the bin.
For the months of October and November we are asking 3rd grade families to donate peanut butter (or a nut butter alternative) and jelly. Thank you, in advance for your willingness to help those in need in our community!
Please access the safe visitor approval process here.
