April Update
Greetings Q300 Families,
This week I am going to begin conducting live learning sessions in groups of 5. I'm starting small so that I can work out any kinks and figure out the best way to make these learning sessions worthwhile. The first one will be "Scratch for Beginners" and open to second grade students who are brand new to Scratch. The second one will be "Code.org Help" for kindergarten and first graders who need some assistance completing the puzzles in code.org. The third and final session this week is iMovie for Beginners. This is open to 3rd and 4th grade students who have a Mac computer. If you would like your child to participate in one of these sessions, you may fill out this form. I will change the topics based on student interest and add more students to sessions as we go along. More information coming soon.
Another change this week is that in addition to updating assignments on my website, I will be adding them on google classroom as well. I've heard from a few students who prefer google classroom so I'd like to accommodate them. If students like visiting the website for assignments, they may continue to do that. This is just another option. My class code is: mrwetnb
Thank you for reading this newsletter. I miss all of you very much and look forward to seeing you again soon. Stay well and reach out with any questions or comments.
Best,
Ali
