Sudith Lane Roadwork
On Tuesday, January 14, construction crews will begin road work on Sudith Ln starting at Sunlit Ct. and extending to Sunbeam Ct. This road construction could cause delays in your daily commute. However, the plan is to have two lanes of traffic open at all times and to never completely shut down the road. Midlothian ISD along with the City of Midlothian want to share this update with you to keep you informed. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we improve the road conditions in our community.
Safety and Security Update
In order to ensure the safety of all students and staff, we buzz in each guest to the front office. Sometimes, additional guests are right behind you as you enter or are waiting to enter when you exit the building. Please do not hold the door for additional guests to enter.
Lost and Found
Items that were lost before break were donated on Friday, but we are already starting a new collection. Please make sure you put your child's name in hoodies, jackets, and coats. We like to return lost items, and names on items helps greatly!
Six Flags Read to Succeed
Six Flags Read to Succeed program provides a free student ticket for each student who reads 6 hours. There are some major changes to the Six Flags program. Please note a change for this year: Parents will set up an account with Six Flags online rather than returning the reading log to school.
Looking for Some Practice for Reading and Math?
Students can access several online programs at home with school or personal devices. Students can log in to his HelloID account and use Education Galaxy, Imagine Math, iStation, and Wonders (our reading adoption).
ID: Lunch Number
Password: Birthdate (mm/yy)
Letters to access iStation will come home this week. Please contact your child's teacher if you don't receive one.
Dieterich Middle School Nights
Event Change!
Is your child SO excited about the cup speed stacking he/she has been doing at school? I know mine has! We are having serious speed stacking challenges at home! This year, instead of hosting our annual chili cook-off and cupcake bake-off, we are hosting a Speed Stack Tournament and Pizza Night! Look for a note from Coach Fiorenza this week! It is going to be a blast!
