Jewellery for all Ages
People of all ages, especially the women crowd are always obsessed with jewellery. Jewels ranging from conventional gold and silver to coral, white gold and so on attract various classes of people, depending on their individual liking towards each kind. Ornamental classification is based on cultural and regional aspects. Say for instance “kundan keshri” jewellery which subsumes gemstone jewels, basically originate from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Such different kinds of jewellery suit women of different age groups.
Kids look alluring when embraced with pretty babyish jewels. Slim gold and white gold ornaments embedded with American stones, diamonds or small pearls bring out a comely look in their attire. Rings are not much preferable to their little fingers. A single bangle with embedded stones on each hand is a perfect match to a necklace with not much gems or stones, on a wedding or any such occasion. Little earrings with drops or clip-on earrings are much preferable for their tender ears.
Teenage girls look best in modern outfits, and eventually they prefer to be trendy. Today, legions of types of ornamental chains are on trend, which add elegance to a girl’s beauty. A small gold and diamond pendant with a pearl drop gracefully suits any young lady’s daily outfit. Single anklets are still on trend, which are liked and worn by teenagers as well as older women. Gold and diamond rings, and thin bracelets complete a girl’s regular outfit.
On an occasion, a young girl could look angelic, when she puts on a complete set of diamond, antique, thewa or jadau jewellery. In bridal attire, stone entrenched wrist cuffs, broad necklace and a matching set of waist chains and bangles give a breath taking look. A duo of a head piece (maang tikka or nethi chutti) made of a thin chain with a pretty big dropping on the forehead, and a pair of relatively sized earrings (preferably with ear cuffs) highlights the bride’s jewellery.
Women who are quite aged (40 years and more) could follow a certain style of jewellery. Pearls, platinum, coral suit them better, giving a young look. Heavy looking ornaments might not look great on aged women. Substituting a few thin bangles (usually worn by young women), a single thick bangle with not much work in it suits best, on any day. When in parties or occasions, a single necklace (heavy or light depending on the occasion) would do better.
