Turtles and Frogs

In Our Classroom

In Our Classroom

We will be spending a unit based on amphibious life in the classroom. Children will be learning about the environment of frogs and turtles, and will learn about how they develop. For example, we will be covering the evolution of tadpole to frog, and egg to turtle.

FUN ACTIVITY TO TRY AT HOME!

Amphibious Grouping Excercise:

1. Sketch and cut out multiple frogs and turtles on colored construction paper.

2. Make sure to use multiple different colors of construction paper.

3. Have your child group the different colors of frogs and different colors of turtles.

4. This activity is geared to help your child learn how to classify each species by color, and also learn how to advance their number counting skills
