Scottsville's Tuesday Tiger Times
January 2, 2024
EXCITED for 2024!
It was WONDERFUL to welcome back your children to school today! Although many were tired in the morning, classes jumped into learning in a variety of ways:
- Sharing highs (and some lows) from break
- STEM activities
- Read alouds
- Vocabulary building (prefixes, homonyms, sentence writing)
- Calendar activities
- Math: "Number of the Day" from Investigations as well as ST Math Problem Solving
- Goal setting/ updating our "Hopes and Dreams"
- Reminding/resetting of school expectations.
Ms. Livermon and Principal Wells had the unique opportunity to visit all homerooms together. We are inspired by our teachers daily - they are just fabulous!
P.S. The photo of silly little friend above represented how many felt this morning.

We'll need your name, your child's name and teacher. We hope this makes it easier for families to contact us at school.
As a reminder, we cannot accept same day dismissal changes after 2:00pm.
