Caught Being a Leader
On Friday, I was making my way back to the office from the end of the first grade classrooms, and I walked by the bathroom. I saw two first grade girls leaving the restroom, and there was paper towels on the floor. Without even thinking, one of the students picked up two paper towels off the floor and threw them away with her own without even thinking about it. These small, random acts make me proud to work with our amazing students at Central!
Reminders
****ACCESS Testing****
- ACCESS Testing begins Monday, January 28th. Please give your students extra reminders to be quiet in the hallways and atrium so our students can test with minimal distractions. Also, please thank Mrs. Davidshofer for all she does for our English Language Learners!
Grade Level Trojan Gala Baskets
- *New Information* After speaking with a representative from the Trojan Gala, she informed me that they are requesting that you please turn in the value of your basket when you turn in grade level baskets.
- Grade level baskets for the Trojan Gala are due Wednesday, December 13th. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for contributing to this event that seeks to provide innovative learning opportunities for our students!
Evaluations
- We are in the home stretch with evaluations at CPS. Most of you have scheduled a time to meet for your summative evaluations. If you have not done so, please send an invite to your evaluator. Trent and I are looking forward to meaningful conversations!

- Copy Mrs. Bush and Dr. Dunnan on the email. One of us will sit in on any parent meeting regarding potential retention.
