An interview with the skilled but retired soccer player!

David Beckham is born on the 2nd of May, 1975 in Leytonstone, London, England. He is most known for his amazing soccer skills and good looks. Beckham has played as a midfielder for many teams such as Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, Los Angeles Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain, and the England National Team. Unfortunately, David Beckham decided to retire in 2012-2013 ending his 20 year soccer career. Interviewer: "David Beckham, thank you for doing this interview with us! How did you start your career and how old were you when it started?"

David Beckham: "My career nationally started in 1992 when I was 17 years-old, I played with Manchester United. Internationally, I debuted at the age of 21 with England in 1996."

Interviewer: "We would all like to know about your successful career, have you won any titles/awards during the time you were playing?

David Beckham: "I won the Premier Leagure title six times; the FA Cup twice;UEFA Champions League in 1999. As for awards, last year I won Choice Male Athlete in the 2013 Teens Choice Awards; and this year the Legend Award at the 2014 Kids' Choice Sports Awards."

Interviewer: "Do you have any sponsors?"

David Beckham: "I have many sponsors such as, Adidas, Coty, H&M, Sainsbury's, Samsung, and Breitling who have so graciously supported me."

Interviewer: "What is your best performance so far?"

David Beckham: "People often say that my best performance was when England was playing against Greece in 2001 in order to participate in the 2002 World Cup. I scored a goal in the 93rd minute and succesfully qualified England to the World Cup. It was on of the best feeling in the world and also the one of the best experiences in my life!"

Interviewer: "Have you ever particpated in the World Cup, Olympics, or other sport events?"

David Beckham: "I have participated in the 1998, 2002, and 2006 FIFA World Cup. I almost went for the 2012 Olymics but there was a situation so I could not attend."
