FULL METAL JACKETS ADVANCED TO STATES!!!
The Full Metal Jackets were incredible last weekend at their state qualification meet. They advanced to alliance selection after match play and were RANKED THIRD. The team then went on to advance out of the semifinals and quarterfinals. They won their first match in the finals, but after putting up a good fight the team lost in the finals finishing second, but they made a lasting impact. They took home the Excellence in Engineering Award and a berth in the state tournament.
The state competition is being held at Saginaw Valley State University this weekend. Events kick off at 9:30 am today. GOOD LUCK TEAM #5205!!!!

YELLOWJACKET OF THE WEEK
Please help us recognize our latest group of YellowJackets of the Week; these are our most dependable students!
If a person is dependable, it means they are trustworthy and reliable. Dependability is fulfilling what you consented to do, even if it means unexpected sacrifice.
Have you ever used a compass to help you find your way? No matter where it is, a compass always points north. You can depend on it! You can be dependable like a compass by keeping your promises, even when it is hard. If you change your mind, forget what you promised, or back out of an agreement when things get tough, others will find it hard to trust you in the future. Keep your commitments so others can count on you as a dependable student, family member, and friend.
