A Message from our Principal
We continue in this Second Week of Lent as we pray, fast, and give alms. At our prayer service this morning, I encouraged the students to use the Rice Bowls to collect extra “change” so that one person can benefit from the sacrifice we make. I told the children that it’s not so much the amount we give, but whatever we give, must be with love.
Please remember to join us this Friday, 2:20pm in the church, for Stations of the Cross.
Seventh grade will lead us this week.
Our basketball teams have completed the regular season. This week begins the post-season tournaments: 6th & 7th grades at St. Andrew, and 8th grade teams play at St. Maria Goretti. Great luck to all!!!
Lost and found: still have a few sweatshirts, hoodies, and fleece jackets to be claimed.
Pot O’ Gold Raffle – Students and families are expected to sell raffle tickets. This year, our goal for both the raffle and auction is a new multi-sport, outdoor court.
This is a much-needed outdoor space for all or children, current and future.
Peace in Christ,
Dr. John Shreve

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES RICE BOWL
When it is cold outside.....
Just a reminder-
The diocese of FW policy from the Health Manual reads: “If temperature and/or wind chill is 32 degrees or below, the students should be kept indoors for PE and recess. When the temperature is above 32 degrees, the children should be properly dressed for outdoor activity.”
Traditionally, at Holy Family “properly dressed” has been defined as:
When temp/wind chill (ie real feel) is 33-40 degrees: jacket with sweater/sweatshirt required to go outside.
Temp/real feel 41-50 degrees: sweater/sweatshirt required to go outside
Temp/real feels 51+ degrees: sweater/sweatshirt – would like them to have one but may be some leeway.
Thank you, Holy Family parents, for sending the appropriate garment(s) so that children may go outside when appropriate.
