Sure, s'mores are a sweet treat, but is a simple way to create an electronic project, flyer, brochure, or presentation. This tool can be used by educators and students 13 years and older. Templates are included for users to drag and drop text, photos, and videos to share via URL, email, or social media within a matter of minutes. PDFs can also be created. There are both free and paid accounts. How can you use this in your classroom?

Ideas for Educators:

  • Class webpage for announcements, homework, etc.
  • Extracurricular clubs, teams, or PTA

Try It - Hour of Code

The Hour of Code is a great time to explore how fun coding can be and how it can help students develop thinking skills useful across disciplines! Although officially held during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 5-11), you can participate any time! More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code. Now it's your turn. One elementary, middle, and high school teacher will win a $500 technology grant from Fayette County!

  1. Visit the Hour of Code website to register.
  2. Visit HERE to register with Fayette County. *REGISTER BY DECEMBER 4*
  3. Once the Hour of Code is over, be ready to submit a short summary of the activities you completed and send a few pictures.
