Your feedback is important to us and the work we do. Each year, we plan activities to support family involvement and extra-curricular activities to support the whole child.
Please feel free to share your feedback at the end of this week's newsletter.
In order to keep all of these things alive and going strong to help our students thrive, we need your support and volunteer help. We recognize families are extremely busy with sports and other family commitments. With that being said, feel free to share any information that will assist us when planning and we will make every effort to support the need.
Leonardtown Elementary is a school rich in family and community support and it shows from the inside of our school to the outside. We all should be so proud of the work we do to support our school community.
Thank you all for making LES a place where students can grow and thrive.
School improvement Team Meeting

It is highly recommend that you consider using the online sign up if able- at www.vaccineconsent.com.
Please do NOT do both the paper and the online registration. Thank you!

Thank you to the teachers and staff with their help in making the Back to School Bash night a big success! It was great to see so many families at the event. A special thanks to the PTA board members and their families for their help cooking and serving dinner.
This Thursday October 3rd is our first General Membership meeting at 6:00pm in the media center. We will be voting on the 2019-2020 budget, a new school logo for our spirit wear and the bylaws. We also will be explaining our new fall fundraiser, the Read-a-Thon, which will run from October 11th through October 18th. The week will culminate with a PJ day at school and an author visit on Friday October 18th. This will be the ONE school wide fundraiser this fall, and we are excited to say 100% of the profits will go back to the school to help fund clubs, Gold Apple reader programs, technology grant and more.
Our membership drive ends October 1st. Thank you to the many families who have joined the PTA this school year! If you have any questions or need a membership form please email us at lesospreyspta@gmail.com.
Thank you again for your support this year. We are looking forward seeing you this week!
Smiles,
Your 2019-2020 LES PTA Board
