Back by popular demand, Dr. Robert A. Martin, joined by Dr. Julie Ann Snyder and moderator Maryann Maiuri, will lead the dialogue many of us struggle to have with students, parents and colleagues – conversations about race, systemic racism, unintended bias in the classroom, and other related topics prompted by discussion and initiated by participants. Learn how to speak up when you find yourself in difficult or troubling situations or ask the questions you’ve always wanted to but were too afraid to ask in this safe-space presentation.

Martin, Ph.D.Robert is in the Department of Organizational Leadership at Oakland University in the Educational Leadership program and serves as the Coordinator for the Masters of Education in Educational Leadership degree. His research expertise include Leadership, Cultural Proficiency, and Student Engagement.
