What exactly is a Chromebook?
A Chromebook is a laptop of a different breed. Instead of Windows or Mac OS, Chromebooks run Google's Chrome OS. These machines are designed to be used while connected to the Internet, with applications and documents living in the cloud.
Chromebooks at MCSS
Chromebooks provide access to the Internet and access to Google Drive applications.
- Chromebooks are completely web-based and function by logging in with school Google accounts.
- You will have access to all of the applications within your Google account.
- However, will not have access to applications like the Microsoft office suite.

Important
If you do not sign out, then other users will have access to your ENTIRE Google account! Make sure you always sign out.
