We will return to GMS at 4:00p.m. Parents will need to arrange to pick up their student. There will be no district transportation. Chaperones, please plan to arrive to GMS at 8:15 for information and carpooling.

Upcoming Finals

As we near the end of the first semester, students are beginning to hear about semester exams. We know this can be scary for everyone involved. Students will have an exam (or final project) for each of their classes. These exams will take place the week of Dec. 15th. The schedule is as follows:

Wed- 1st period exam, shortened classes 2nd-7th, normal dismissal time

Thurs- 2nd, 3rd and 4th period exams, early release 12:15

Fri- 5th, 7th and 8th exams, early release 12:15

PLEASE, PLEASE do not schedule appointments, or plan to leave town before exams are complete. Final exams cannot be taken before the scheduled day. If you foresee a need to be out, please contact that teacher to make arrangements to take the final after the holiday break. Students will review in each class in the coming week. Help them remember to study a little each day, instead of cramming the night before. Also, give them time to relax and unwind. This is new, and can be very stressful. I am sure they will all do GREAT!

Hour of Code

STEM students will be participating in Hour of Code this week. They will have the opportunity to explore Coding in a variety of ways during their STEM classes on Wednesday. For more information, visit . If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Nutt.
