Almost the entire world mourns as Prince, the songwriter, singer, producer, and icon died on Thursday April 21st at his home Paisley Park, in Chanhassen, Minnesota. He was 57.
In an interview done in 2009 on the Tavis Smiley Show, Prince discussed his childhood struggle with epilepsy and his support for bizarre conspiracy theories. " I've never spoken about this before, but I was born epileptic and I used to have seizures when I was young," he told talk-show host Tavis Smiley. "And my mother and father didn't know what to do or how to handle it, but they did the best they could with what little they had."

* Epilepsy Community Forum at Morehouse School Of Medicine *
Angels Of Epilepsy Foundation enjoyed being part of the "Epilepsy Community Forum" at Morehouse School of Medicine here in Atlanta, GA on 4-16-2016. It was a pleasure to meet epilepsy survivors and their families, as well as doctors & other organizations.
The aim of the forum is to bring together people with epilepsy, their support people, and other interested community members and organizations to talk about how epilepsy is affecting our communities. It was great having a panel discussion involving individuals with epilepsy, advocates, and specialists from Emory University Hospital. There were many questions and answers received at this event.
Much thanks to Morehouse College Research Team for having Angels Of Epilepsy to be part of this amazing event!
