Activity: Why Do Chameleons Change Color?
Instructions:
1. Teachers read the teacher passage aloud as students fill in the important vocabulary. (PK-1 teachers, have students listen to the passage).
2. After reading, discuss that chameleons change colors to show mood. Discuss how humans show their moods.
3. Ask students what the most appropriate ways to show emotion are.
4. Remind students where they can go in the class when their emotions get too big.
