JFK Elementary Supply Lists

A Note About Supplies for all Classrooms

As has been widely publicized, schools are making many changes to procedures this year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In previous years, many classrooms shared supplies. Due to concerns regarding the coronavirus and sanitization, students will each need to have their own supplies. Many classrooms are requesting that everything that belongs to your child is labeled. We are also requesting that each child have a plastic, shoe sized storage tote for their supplies. We have provided a link to one below that can serve as a guide.

For our Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms, we are asking parents to send a hula hoop with their child. We plan to use these for the purpose of social distancing with our youngest students.

We have compiled these lists as grade-level supply requirements. Once teacher assignments are released, there may be a few additional classroom specific items that are requested.

The Sioux Falls School District is also asking for community donations of cloth face coverings, hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) and Clorox Cleaning Wipes. These can be dropped off at IPC or Central Services to be distributed among all District sites. More information can be found here.

Thank you all for your continued patience and support as we navigate these challenging times. We want to reassure you that the safety of your children is our utmost concern.
