Nile River
The Nile River is the largest river in the world. It is 4,160 miles long from Central Africa to the Mediterranean Sea. It flows Northward towards parts of Egypt,Sudan,Ethiopia,Kenya,Uganda,Rwanda,Burundi, and Zaire. The Nile River is an important source of hydroelectric power.
Sahara Desert
It's the world's largest desert and it is 3,500,000 square mile. The Sahara Desert has one of the harshest climates in the world. Regions of sand dunes cover 15% of the Sahara "stone deserts". The sahara desert has lack of water,extremely high daytime temperatures, and spare vegetation.

Madagascar is located in the Indian Ocean. It is the 4th largest island in the world. Madagascar is made up of a highland plateau. Madagascar's economy is overwhelmingly agriculture.
Red Sea
The Red Sea is linked with the Indian Ocean by the Gulf of Aden. Summer temperatures exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It is a long,narrow sea sitting between Africa and Arabian Peninsula.
