Everyone did great readjusting to school last week! We hope to continue that trend this week. Lots of exciting activities planned in the coming weeks:
Science- Accommodations for Space exploration
Math- Integers
Language Arts- STEM Careers Research
Social Studies- Sub Saharan Africa, Roots of Democracy
Sixth Grade Academic Night- 6:30-7:30 Tuesday, January 13th
SciGirls Saturdays!
This opportunity will provide girls with the platform to create and thrive without the pressures of competition from their male classmates. We will focus on encouraging girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through collaboration, group projects and activities. Girls will have the opportunities to work with and meet professional women in STEM Careers. More information will be coming home soon!

- shoe boxes
- paper towel tubes
- toilet paper tubes
- empty tissue boxes
- empty water bottles (12-16.9oz)
