What will next school year look like?
At this time, Austin ISD is awaiting information on the 2021-2022 school year requirements from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). We know that on-campus learning will be an option available to families next year, just as it is this year. AISD safety protocols will align with the Center for Disease Control and Austin Public Health. The previously mentioned hybrid/remote option for 2021-2022 is not yet clarified. Read Article Here
We realize you’re eager for information, and we will communicate more with our families when we receive guidance from TEA.
Technology for 2021-2022
Our current second graders will be 2021-2022 third graders. These students will turn in iPads and get issued a Chromebook in August.
iPads will be available to incoming PK thru 2nd graders for each elementary school at the start of the new school year.
