Park View Newsletter

Future Communication
We have had a positive start to this school year being in a much more normal schedule, in-person five days per week. Last year, with all of the unknowns and moving from remote only to in person 2-days per week, to in-person 4-days per week there was more information I had to communicate continuously. This year, that need is dwindling so I will be moving to a bi-monthly schedule meaning I will send out the Park View newsletter on the first and third Friday's of the month. The next newsletter will be 9/17, which is the third Friday of September. The Park View PTA will continue to send out weekly newsletters each Tuesday to keep you up-to-date on all PTA school events and activities. I hope this helps ease the information load on all of our families.
Be Seen And Heard!
- Distinguishing Safe from Unsafe Touch
- Safety Rules at Home and School
- Saying "No"
- Safe/Unsafe Secrets
- It's not the child's fault if someone touches him/her in unsafe ways
- Telling a Trusted Adult
All families were sent a message in August regarding this program along with a 20 minute informational video called 'Be Seen And Heard' 2.0. There is a booklet that students can share with you that cover the topics from the presentation. You can download that booklet at www.Tic-Tac-No-Go.com. The booklet will help to reinforce this important information and students can color in the pictures. I encourage all parents to download the book and review the information with your child(ren).
