Become a Volunteer Mentor with Mentor North
Mentoring is an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community and impact the life of a youth. Mentor North currently has 80 youth on the waitlist looking for an adult mentor in their life. Activities our youth are looking to do with a mentor include hiking, swimming, cooking, reading, playing with legos, watching movies, soccer, hockey, skiing, and so much more!
Mentoring with youth has a powerful impact that leads to better outcomes in school, volunteering in the community, holding leadership positions, and more.
Mentor North is here to support you in the mentoring relationship with everything you need to have a great experience.
Mentors spend a minimum of four hours a month one-on-one with youth exploring shared interests and engaging in community activities.
If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more, please connect with Recruitment and Volunteer Coordinator Jordan!

Multiple staff and other teachers at the event complimented the North Star students on how respectful and friendly they were throughout the day. I was SO impressed by them and am really proud of their hard work. Ms. Newton
Staff Shoutout
Randey Rich: Mr.Rich has been raved about by the 5th graders. He is teaching them a language they feel like they will actually get to use, and he has even been signing and teaching them with a sprained wrist. He's going above and beyond and we appreciate him!
Hunter Rackliffe: Mr. Hunter works so well with our level 3 students. He is patient and kind and does such a great job inspiring and motivating those students! Thanks for all you do Mr. Hunter!
Rylee Newton: Did a great job with the choir concert!!
Staff love receiving these shout outs! I share them with the staff member and their supervisor!
