Born close to Bordeaux on Jan. 18. Died Feb. 10 in 1755. His mother dies in 1696. Moves to Paris in 1709. Moves back to Bordeaux. His father dies and become the man of the family. When he came back to Bordeaux he studied the law at the request of his uncle who will leave him his title and fortune. His uncle dies leaving the title Baron de Montesquieu, his fortune and his office of the President of Mortier. Can write Persian letters and wrote Dialogue de sylla et d'Eucrate and reflextions Sur la monarchie Universelle and Le Temple De gnide all in 1721-1725. Did not have any opponents. Montesquieu is most known for his thoughts on the separation of powers. He had a enthenic background.
