In an effort to reduce COVID exposures, cases and quarantines so that we can keep our students in school, conferences will take place entirely online across the district this fall. Students in grades 2-5 should plan to attend with their families and students in kindergarten and first grade should not.

Teacher specific sign up links were sent out to families. Please contact our office at 503-431-4200 or email bridgeportoffice@ttsd.k12.or.us with questions or if you will need help accessing your conference online.

Please look for communication from your student's teacher regarding meeting links.

We are sorry to inform October date for parent volunteers returning has been delayed. We will pause in having volunteers in the building until the new date is decided.

Our Bridgeport community volunteers are a part of what makes our school great! Thank you to those who have completed the requirements to become a volunteer! We look forward to seeing you back in the school!

Rockin Rocktober Update:

Woops! We scheduled one of our Rockin’ Rocktober spirit days (wearing something to support your favorite team) on the same day as picture day: Monday, October 11. If you and your family decide that a spirit wear outfit is how you’d like to dress for your picture, great! But, if you and your family decide that you’d rather wear something else that day, it is ok! Either way, you can “count” whatever you wear that day on your Rockin’ Rocktober Challenge tracker.

Big picture
Rockin’ Rocktober is the Bridgeport Elementary PTO fall fundraiser and our primary fundraiser for the entire year. But, what will the PTO do with the money that is raised? Great question! Those funds get used to:
  • Purchase for new gym, playground, and music equipment

  • Give all students a reusable mask and community T-shirt

  • Provide individually wrapped snacks for students who don’t have one

  • Bring art education and projects to each classroom

  • Pay for field trips

  • Support teachers with discretionary funds

  • Buy new library books

  • Sponsor social programs like class parties

  • Help our community in need when their basic needs can not be met with other aid programs
