Weekly Updates
Jeanette and I wanted to celebrate U today by providing Upside Down cake and jUice! We hope you liked it! Our motto for December is "Don't let the holidays turn your life upside down!"
Faculty Meeting, December 15/16
Please read chapter 3, The Next 4 Steps..
As you read I would like for you to think about the application to your upcoming Units of Instruction and embedding high-yield instructional strategies. We will process this at our meeting.
Chats with Chance
I would love for you all to attend Lyon's Chats with Chance on Tuesday morning @ 7:30 in our library. This is a great time to speak with him regarding future plans, CSIP development, and leadership and maybe to ask WHY HE HIRED ME (just kidding...I hope!).
Hour of Code
Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.
Ms. Pengilly has jumped on board by allowing Lyon learners to participate in next week's Hour of Code week. Check out this website for more information! https://hourofcode.com/us
