Port Susan Middle School
Student & Family Update 08.16.22
Welcome to the 22-23 school year!
I am very excited to get to know all of our students and their families. Our staff has worked very hard to get the building ready and we look forward to seeing students walk through the doors. In order to best support our students this year, communication is key. We will send information throughout school year and always welcome feedback. In addition, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Together we can make this year a success!
Save the date
Port Susan Middle office is open from 8:00AM-2:00PM daily. If you have any questions &/or need to drop off any items, this is a great time to do that. To reach us by phone, please call 360.629.1360
Syward Family Access
Once schedules are active, students and parents can view them through this system.
FALL SPORTS interest
7th and 8th graders can now sign up for fall sports (Girls Soccer or Boys/Girls Cross Country). The 2022-2023 PSMS Registration Form is found here.
6th grade students, in addition to wrestling in the winter, will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs. These typically begin midway through the first quarter so they've had a chance to settle into the school year.
**All students participating in athletics need a current sports physical every 2 years.
The YMCA will also offer a variety of sports and activities. You can find out that information on their website linked here.
PSMS School Season Dates
Student calendar 2022-2023 school year
In addition to the important dates on this calendar, please make note that we will be having an Open House on August 29th (4-6pm) for an opportunity for you to visit the school, locate your classes, and get questions answered.
While out school supply shopping, please reference the list below. We do not have student lockers at Port Susan Middle School, so keep that in mind as you are filling up those backpacks. Also, make note that teachers may request additional items for their specific class. In our office, we will have supplies available for students as needed, so don't hesitate to reach out.
Communication Is Key!
Also, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions as we approach this fall. Thanks for your time!
