What We Worked on This Week
Math- We continued different subtraction strategies. We focused on using addition to subtract and fact families. We also looked at the role 0 plays in subtraction. We practiced these skills and even did a fun Quizlet game. We will move on to more subtraction strategies next week.
Social Studies- This week we practiced digital citizenship. We looked at what are safe sites to use to search. We also looked at how to search with keywords.
Science- We continued our unit on life cycles. Our caterpillars are now in chrysalis form. Next week, they should start to turn into butterflies. We worked as a class to use our bulletin board to show the life cycle of butterflies. We will continue to looked at the life cycles of other animals.
