We have some important activities and upcoming events. Please consider joining us!

- PTO Meeting 2/10 at 6:30 PM in the Library
- PTO is selling "Valograms" next week on Tues. Wed. Thursday for Friday delivery
- PTO is sponsoring MVMS Movie Nights. See all 5 movies this spring for only $5! More information below
- Padres Unidos is sponsoring an evening of learning about vaping; presentations in Spanish and in English (in different rooms) Monday the 24th
- Conferences are coming up on the 26th and 27th, look for sign up email from your student's teachers

Mountain View Movie Nights
$5 buys you admission to 5 movies!
All movies begin at 6:30pm with doors opening at 6pm.
Tickets available in the office through March 6.
Mar 6 – Spider-Man, Into the Spider-verse. Rated PG
Bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into the one and only Spider-Man. When he meets Peter Parker, he soon realizes that there are many others who share his special, high-flying talents. Miles must now use his newfound skills to battle the evil Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other universes and pull different versions of Spider-Man into our world.
Apr 3 – WALL-E Rated G
WALL-E, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he's more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE, a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy.
May 1 – A-X-L Rated PG
A.X.L. is a top-secret, robotic dog that has advanced artificial intelligence created by the military. After an experiment gone wrong, A.X.L. is discovered hiding in the desert by Alex, a kindhearted outsider who finds a way to connect with the robot. The two soon develop a special friendship based on trust, loyalty and compassion. Helping Miles gain confidence, A.X.L. goes to any length to protect his new companion, including facing off against the scientists who want their creation back.
May 22 – Spirited Away Rated PG
In this animated feature by noted Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, 10-year-old Chihiro and her parents stumble upon a seemingly abandoned amusement park. After her mother and father are turned into giant pigs, Chihiro meets the mysterious Haku who explains that the park is a resort for supernatural beings who need a break from their time spent in the earthly realm, and that she must work there to free herself and her parents.
Jun 5 – Ralph Breaks the Internet. Rated PG
Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, "Sugar Rush." In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet -- the netizens -- to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube
Food and candy will be offered for sale.
Individual tickets are available at the door for $2 the night of event.
No re-entry if you leave the building. No rude or unsafe behavior. Safe, respectful and responsible behavior expectations will apply
