Decoding Financial Aid Offers: 10 Things You Need To Know
The goal of College Decision Day is to recognize high school seniors for their postsecondary educational plans and encourage younger students and families to prepare early for postsecondary education. Avondale Academy will hold a celebration to honor each senior who has a plan after high school. Whether your plans are a certificate program, trade school, 2 year or 4 year university, please make sure you communicate with your counselor on your intentions. Seniors, if you have not completed the Postsecondary Survey yet, please do so now.
IT'S NOT TOO LATE!
There are many types of financial aid such as grants, scholarships, work study, and student loans. You will never know exactly how much aid you will qualify until you complete the FAFSA. Please remember that the FAFSA is FREE!!! Never pay to complete your FAFSA and make sure you visit the correct site: www.fafsa.gov.
It's not too early (or too late) to apply for scholarships!
I also have scholarship books in my office that you are more than welcome to borrow,

In addition to seeing main campus, you will stop along the way at both the Student Recreation Center and a residence hall. In addition, exclusively for Spotlight guests, the $40 admission application fee will be waived.
