What a wonderful wonderful month it's been! I know we have thoroughly enjoyed all the festivities and we hope you have as well. We are blessed to work with such amazing teachers and staff. We know 2015 holds wonderful things for Pharr Elementary!

CURRICULUM
Four Core Collaborative Staff Development
All K-5 educators are invited to participate in staff development provided by the Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies offices. Participants may choose to delve deeply into content, or they may choose to attend sessions designed to deepen their understanding of instructional strategies, such as text complexity, interactive note taking, primary sources, and thinking maps that link to the Georgia Milestones. A description of the offerings can be found in the PD&E tool.
What: ES Four Core Collaborative Staff Development
When and Where: January 26, 2015, 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Grayson High School
January 27, 2015, 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Peachtree Ridge High School
Registration will open in the PD&E tool January 5, 2014.

Test Demonstration!!!!
The Experience Online Testing Georgia website has been updated to include a demonstration test for each content area of the Georgia Milestones– English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The primary purpose of this website is to provide exposure to the online platform that students will utilize when taking the Georgia Milestones tests. http://learnoas.ctb.com/GA/
DDA (District Developed Assessments)
All DDAs have been scanned and you can review the results in Schoolnet (blue assessment tile on the go.portal). All your hard work is paying off...GREAT JOB!
