The Fertile Cresent
Mesopotamia is a region located in the Middle East between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The temperature is hot and dry. The crops that they grow are grain, fruit, and vegetables. The rivers and bodies of waters are the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers, the Caspian Sea, the Dead Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. The climate affects the land because; it is a hot and dry land.
The Mesopotamian irrigated the water so it would water the crops. The rivers also helped with transpiration and drinking water. Even though the early Mesopotamia's lived some 5,000 years, ago, many of the items that they developed still impact on us today. One invention or idea that was developed by early Mesopotamia's was the sail boat. They also invented the wagon wheel. Another invention is board games. The also invention is copper. These invention/ideas that were developed 5000 years ago impacted the Mesopotamian’s lives as well as our lives today.
