Executive Director's Message

The start of a new school year brings wonderful opportunities - opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends, and become involved in school activities, clubs and organizations. The beginning of a new school year also reminds me that we have another year's worth of opportunities to make a difference in the lives of each student.

We will make a difference by caring about each student and providing a safe environment for them to learn. Each of you has an outstanding team of teachers who – not only are highly qualified and prepared in their subject areas – but also sincerely care and are dedicated to all students. As we strive to promote healthy developments in all aspects of each student’s life, we will also strive to develop our schools with character where students make good choices and decisions resulting in successful and healthy outcomes. As the school’s leader, I know you will encourage students to reach their highest potential every moment of everyday and to make positive contributions to groups, team sports and organizations to which they belong.

It is an exciting time to be involved in preparing learners for their future. The significance of education becomes more pivotal each year. As we prepare for a global society, the goal to prepare students for their futures as literate universal citizens becomes ever more critical to the success of our democracy, our families, and our students. This year, we must continue to focus on ways to improve student learning and fine tune our systems and processes so that we can best serve our students. This is challenging work that requires collaboration, respectful working relationships, and a positive attitude.

I am committed to the success of our schools and our students, as I know you are as well. The key to our success this year will be our ability to work in partnership with each other, our parents and the school community. I look forward to an exciting 2015-2016 school year. Please let me know if I can assist you or campus in any way.

Together we will make the difference!

Make it a GREAT week!!
