More about the Trenches
Why the Trenches were important
The trenches were important because they were a great defense in battle. It would allow people to hide and doge bullets flying around above their head, and they also stretched for miles on the ground so they were able to move around and go from one place to another. And also some of the trenches would be around 50 feet away from the enemy, and that way the people in them could do a head on attack to the enemy and charge at them.
